We went out to the Live Nativity at the Critter Barn with a couple church friends. We were supposed to go as families but I had Eric stay home with Brecken and Joelle..since we were just getting over our age-long sickness. It was wet, damp and windy out so I didn't want to ruin a good thing, right before Christmas.
These two are best buds. I fear for the day they are teenagers.. We will have to take a sabbatical from their friendship ;)

William, Kailyn, Adelyn and Sophia. Church best buds. They were listening with rapt attention to the story of Mary and Joseph walking to Bethlehem. I might be slightly sarcastic on the "rapt attention" part...
After the story was told we walked around and actually saw Mary, Joseph, Baby Jesus and the three wisemen. So cute. We walked into the manger area and they had sheep walking around you while listening to the rest of the story.
After the story was done Mary came around and showed the girls Baby Jesus. He IS a girl. According to Adelyn..and Sophia. Someday they will realize the truth ;)
After the Nativity an older couple (and by older I mean their kids are out of the house, not OLD) from church had us over for cookies, hot chocolate and coffee. It was so nice to get out and about after being cooped up. Blessed to call Calvary our church home and blessed to have such great friends.
