June Phone Dump

Splash pad with some of my favorite little people.  Happy and sad.  He got splashed.  He has the best sad face.

Ha!

Weirdest kids ever.  Eating my coleslaw salad.

She can make our oatmeal for us in the mornings.  Start to finish.  All by herself.

Blueberries all over his face.

L sleeping with his legs hanging out the slats.

Post run with all the kids.  That was exhausting.

The best age.  The one where they destroy everything.

Alas, I will never get over holding this sweet, sleeping face.

Her long hair.  It makes me want to weep.

I am nursing him.  He does acrobats while I nurse him.

Reading to her siblings.  Catching moments like these never gets old either.

A friend came over on her birthday.  Of course, we had to celebrate!

L's smash cake for pictures.

Adelyn likes to draw Lincoln pictures and hang them in his bed.  He finally was able to rip one down and shred it.  She was devastated.  #whoops

What happens when you forget your bags when you go to Aldi.  I have a love/hate relationship with that store.  I never bring bags.  NEVER.

Michigan Sunset.  Love.

Cherry Picking and Hot Tub Moving

We went cherry picking with Daddy opening day.  We picked loads 30 pounds.  We gave a bunch to Grandma and Papa and we ate the rest.  Whoops.  I wanted a bunch to freeze.  Last year I picked 40 pounds and Eric had a heart attack.  He didn't think there was any way we would eat them all.  They were gone by Christmas.  I wanted to get at least 50 pounds.  I froze a ton of strawberries this year and my plan is to freeze a bunch of blueberries too.  I didn't have either of those last year.  So hopefully between the three we can last a little bit longer than Christmas ;)

This little dude has this crazy high fever.  He has had it for a couple nights.  It goes away in the morning and then comes roaring back around lunch time.  We were going stir crazy AND he didn't have a fever.  So we just left to go picking.  He acts fine until the fever comes and then he is dead tired.  With a 105 (literally) fever all he does is sleep.  He was picking great.  Then he started slowing down.  Then he lay down and fell asleep.

Had to get some pictures of all our cherries and all the kids.  Sleeping or not.

Poor boy.

We came home to this.  We had our new neighbors move in a week ago and they absolutely didn't want the hot tub.  Last night they were trying to move it off the deck with 6 men.  It wasn't happening.  They came back with this.  Seems a little unnecessary.  Maybe they should have just kept the hot tub...

I wanted to hollar "You can just drop it right there...WE will use it."

And then there was this.  Torrential downpours.  And sun.  Always creepy.

Lincoln::1 Year Pictures

We went to get this little guys 1 year pictures taken.  The mosquitos were the most memorable part.  Oh.my.word.  They were so bad.  I had to take a shower when we got home.  I was covered in welts.  I showered all the kids too.  Eric, meanwhile, had one bite.  Lincoln, thankfully, got the least, after Eric.

This was our Christmas card picture.   Eric wants (and I agree) to get fewer professional pictures taken.  If we are completely honest, they can be expensive.  We have had so many done 1. Because we keep having lots of kids.  2.  Babies change.  A lot.  I told him we would use a picture from this session for our Christmas card.  Sometimes photographers run specials in the fall and then I get all excited and want to do those too.  We are going to start putting the kabosh on all our pictures.  ;)

I had to promise Adelyn a cookie to wear these pants.  She HATES them.  H A T E S.  She was pissed when I told her she had to wear them.  I quickly promised a cookie because I didn't want a tantrum.  And, because, family pictures.  Any kind of "wiggly" pant and she's out.  Any kind of wiggly shirt, for that matter, and she's out.  But she'll wear dresses all the live long year.  But no dresses with wiggly sleeves.  Argh.

What a stud muffin.

Oh the mosquitos.  I wish you could have heard the kids.  It was so bad.  Adelyn's swatting, Joelle's all scrunched up and that's Brecken's "get me out of here" face.

I covet his hair.

Sunlight.  Less mosquitos.  Happier kids.

I adore this picture.

And this one.  We are doing a camping/fishing theme for Lincoln's birthday.  I thought it would be really cute to get the boys "fishing" with some poles.  Eric was hyperventilating with Lincoln sitting on the edge of the dock.

The sweetness.

My grandma made this blanket for Lincoln when he was born.  He has some of his newborn pictures with it too.

He is such a JOY.

Birthday cake for a birthday boy.  Gluten, dairy, egg, nut free.  AND it tastes amazing.  Amen.

His wispy hair.

He is such a hoot.

This is one of my faves too.
