Lincoln's Birthday DAY

Our one and only trip, for summer of 2015, to one of our favorite places was on Lincoln's birthday.  We celebrated this sweet boy all day and when Daddy got home we headed to the beach to continue our celebrating.

Life jackets are a requirement.  Too many kids.  Not enough adults.  And it gives me a slight piece of mind that I can actually turn my back for a second and they should be ok.  The rules are if you are in the water, a life jacket is on.  They don't care.  And they love splashing around.

The lake was freezing.  That didn't stop them.

This little turkey sat in our laps and munched on a piece of pizza crust.

Turns out he has no fear either.  He LOVED the water.  He crawled right in.  And would have kept going.  He loved sitting on the edge and getting splashed by the waves.

 "Helping" "build" towers.

All of our lovies.

We came home and opened some presents.  The kids are so insistent that they get whoever's birthday it is, a birthday present.  One can not resist.

Lincoln's in it for the ribbons and paper.

Adelyn picked out this train set, Brecken got him a ball and Joelle got him a racoon lovie.
