Hudsonville Fair::2014

Right when we got to the fair, the kids were offered a piece of candy.  They had some takers.

Would not be the fair without a proper meltdown.  He was mad because Adelyn got to go on one more ride than him.  First world problems.

So glad we made it out to the fair.  The Hudsonville Fair is our favorite one.  I just wish it didn't have to be so expensive.  Until next year.

Lincoln::1 month

We rang in Lincoln's 1 month with an uber busy day.  And loads and loads of smiles.  He started smiling at me a week ago and has just started rewarding lots of people with smiles.

*weighs just over 11 pounds.  I weighed him on the food scale 5 or so days ago.

*0-3 month and 3 month clothes

*had to do away with the newborn diapers.  Size 1's it is.

*nurses every 3 hours like clockwork during the day.  6-8 is normal at night.  About once a week he likes to play the 4 hour game, at night.  I told Eric, last night, if L wakes anymore before 2, he's Judy on Duty to try and get him back to sleep without nursing.  The porker doesn't need it.  {Clearly, if he is distressed, I will feed him.}

*miles and miles of smiles.  The kids LOVE getting him to smile.

*absolutely HATES any type of shopping.  He has screamed through every trip I have taken.  Or been super fussy the whole time.  We went to Target yesterday and I plunked him in the Ergo.  He slept the whole time.  Fine then.  That's how we shall go.

*STILL paci free!  I think we are in the clear.  We will see how the next couple weeks go.  If he makes it past the 6 week potential for a crabby baby mark I think we will be in the clear.  Think.

*still haven't tried a bottle.  Oops.  I told Eric the other night we should try and he said "Why?!"  Umm because our previous children didn't like them.  And this one will probably hate them, now.

 *his eyes are almost white again.  Still a bit yellow.  Joelle's lasted 6 weeks so we shall see.

Temper tantrums on the sidewalk.  That's how we roll.

Newborn poop.  That's apparently one thing I have forgotten about.

What can I say? I was tired.

Again, with the newborn poop.  This one was ev.ery.where.  Eric's shirt, shorts, Lincoln's shirt, all over the kitchen floor.  Sick.

Our wall of diapers.  Who needs drywall when you have diaper boxes?!  Target has run some excellent diaper deals.

Out for breakfast at Wolfgang's and this happened.  He doesn't discriminate.

Beach Day

We headed to the beach in the morning for some swimming.  Auntie came with us because she didn't have to work until night.  Woohoo!  It was BEAUTIFUL out.  No wind, warm, nicest beach day yet.  We got there just before 11 and there were quite a few people there already.

The kids were LOVING it.  B ran right in, up to his chest.  The girls quickly followed.

No beach post is good without a crack picture.  This boy.  He's my littlest one yet.  His swimming trunks are always falling down.

We came home and I filled the pool up while they were napping.  They wanted to get their inner tubes out.  B was walking around like this.  What could possibly go wrong?!  {Again, with the crack.}

I had bought some GF cereal for myself earlier in the week and I knew if I didn't buy the kiddos some I wouldn't hear the end of it.  So they got some Apple Rolls.  You're welcome.  They had finished the box this morning and I stuck it out on the step to be thrown away.  Joelle came running inside that night, shaking the box, and telling me they weren't all gone.  I said you better run finish them up then.  I came outside and saw this.  Ha.
